(helps with marking glass while measuring)
Every decal has 3 parts:
Top - application tape (may be either white or transparent depending on
decal size & model)
Middle - vinyl decal
Bottom - waxed backing paper (never get this part
- Clean application
surface to remove any dirt, grease, or contaminates. Wash surface with soapy
and let surface dry thoroughly. Do not use
Windex or ammonia-based cleaners.
Make sure to remove
all traces of Rainex or similar products.
- Use masking
tape to set your decal into position on application surface.
- While decal
is hinged upward remove backing paper. Allow decal to hinge on to car as you
flatten it into place using your hands. Squeegee decal from the center out
to the edges using good pressure. Two bank cards (back to back) may
be used if a squeegee is not available.
- Slowly remove
application paper making sure decal does not lift off surface. If decal lifts
off press back into place and squeegee again.
- Allow a few
days in the hot sun before washing or waxing decals. All our GLOSS FINISH
vinyl decals can be waxed.
Heat buildup, humidity, condensation, and window tinting lead us to suggest that
YOU DO NOT install your decal on the inside of your vehicle's windows.
